No, I'm not obsessed with this movie really. At all. Ever. No.

Since I finally managed to find the book yesterday, I sat down and finished reading it in about....2 hours? Around there. It's not a long book.

Anyways, after I finished, I was struck with a strong desire to draw the book verion of Hiccup. (Who, to those who don't know the book series, has flaming red frizzy hair, is short and scrawny, and wears sandals in winter. Not quite sure how he puts up with that last one.)

However, his outfit is more of a mixture of his book outfit and movie outfit. I liked the helmet in the book design, but I also liked the movie version of his clothes.

Also, that's Toothless in the little basket on his back. I like the movie Toothless SO much better, but since this is supposed to be from the book, I figured I should put original Toothless in. Despite the fact that he annoys the crap out of me. D:<

The runes are Younger Futhark, which is supposedly what the runes in the movie are based off of. Somewhat.

Honestly, I like the book Toothless better I don't know why, I just like how funny he is and always up to trouble >:3 XD Anyways, great job with drawing Hiccup! Seeing someone drawing the book version of him gives me somewhat relief that people know that he was first before the OTHER Hiccup. Such an epic drawing!!

Book Hiccup is way more awesome than movie Hiccup in my opinion. He's smarter, cuter (He's only 10 awwww) AND he can talk to dragons. THE CUUUUUUTTTTEEE....I CAN'T LOOK AWAY....O_o
